Global Alzheimer’s disease (AD) market was valued at $3.1bn in 2015 and is forecast to grow at a modest 5.3% CAGR between 2015 and 2024, to reach 2024 global sales of $5.2bn. The treatment strategies targeting beta-amyloid include immunotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, therapeutic vaccines, secretase inhibitors (gamma and beta), and aggregation inhibitors.
